This month’s meeting will take on a new multiple speaker format that we think will be pretty fun – 20 slides, 20 seconds each! Take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pecha_Kucha if you’ve never heard of Pecha Kucha.

Rules:

• We’ll accept the first 10 submissions sent to [email protected] by 11:59pm, Oct. 31. No revisions after this deadline.
• 
  
• This post will be updated when we’ve reached the limit on number of submissions.
• 
  
• Include 20 slides on any tech/geek-related topic (PHP not required). We will time and auto-advance at 20 seconds per slide.
• 
  
• Presentations must be slides only, i.e. no live demos. Presentations will be run from a single laptop to minimize transition time.
• 
  
• All submissions must be in PowerPoint format. (Keynote and others can export to .ppt.) Non-PowerPoint submissions will not be eligible.
• 
  
• All submissions must not have been entered in other competitions.
• 
  
• Recomendations: Our projector resolution is 1024×768, so scale appropriately. Keep file size reasonable, i.e. don’t send a 150MB file with maximum-res photo backgrounds on every slide. Avoid slide transitions, as they may not export or display with auto-advance.
