Ah, glad you added this group. I hear about it off and on but have yet to make a meeting. Definitely add the July 30 meeting to the calendar. Oh, and square pictures work best on this system as you can see.
  • J. Cornelius

Glad to see this group was already here. Please let me know how I can help here.

The best thing you can do is just to make sure to add your events to the main calendar. The more members of each group we can get adding their own events, the easier it will be on everyone to maintain a very valuable resource. Pretty much there is a quality educational event going on every Mon-Thurs, its just a matter of knowing about them in one spot like we are building here.

Thanks Cheyenne, Just joined. Trying to get some CSS help/classes. I know just enough to create problems.

I would LOVE to schedule a meetup for us to get together and meet each other and exchange ideas.  Any one interested?  Not sure where everyone is but I was thinking Marlow's Tavern at Northlake... they have a LOVELY rooftop porch (half covered) with lovely libations and mouth-watering munchies... whatcha think, y'all?

Good idea, Kelley. We have a social scheduled for April 12th at Fig Jam in south Buckhead. Details are here: http://www.awdg.org/events/56416982/

    There's also a page on Eventbrite: http://atlwebsocial.eventbrite.com/

I saw that.  I'm in Northern Gwinnett... that's a heck of a trek for me; especially since I have a fractured ankle. :(  But I'm still considering going... thanks for the heads up though. :)

One of our co-organizers is in Lawrenceville, and there are a few other members in that area. Maybe you could carpool?

  • Kelley Chambers

Well, that's a good idea!  I'm assuming those members would be on the AWDG official site?  I see there are only eight members here.

    PS - I'm in Lilburn.

  • J. Cornelius

Yep. There are over 1700 members there. :)

  • Kelley Chambers

Holy guacamole! ;)  Ok, I'll go check it out...

J, this is an off topic question, but I have a client who wants his site to work in... wait for it... AOL!  I haven't programmed for AOL in a decade so I'm at a loss as to where I can figure out the CSS bugs for it. Have any ideas?  Do you know if the browser currently used is based on IE still?

  • J. Cornelius

Nope. No idea on that one. You should ask on the AWDG mailing list. Someone there might know.
