I so hear ya', Cheyenne... LOUD AND CLEAR. I'm in the absolutely same mindset as you are. That said, I'm very much about truly satisfying my clients. I'm just not sure I can make the grade this time with that request.
AOL! I think you really need to advise your client against this. I can't think of any reason, even living in the congo, to support AOL these days. Just download Chrome or anything else for free.
Yeah, I figured as much. No one designs around AOL anymore... so this is a real bugaboo. I'm on the AWDG page now and trying to sort by location but it doesn't appear to be an option. I'll probably just post a note and see who responds. Thanks anyway, J! Happy Humpday to ya'! ;)
Nope. No idea on that one. You should ask on the AWDG mailing list. Someone there might know.
Holy guacamole! ;) Ok, I'll go check it out...
J, this is an off topic question, but I have a client who wants his site to work in... wait for it... AOL! I haven't programmed for AOL in a decade so I'm at a loss as to where I can figure out the CSS bugs for it. Have any ideas? Do you know if the browser currently used is based on IE still?
Yep. There are over 1700 members there. :)
Well, that's a good idea! I'm assuming those members would be on the AWDG official site? I see there are only eight members here.
PS - I'm in Lilburn.
One of our co-organizers is in Lawrenceville, and there are a few other members in that area. Maybe you could carpool?
I saw that. I'm in Northern Gwinnett... that's a heck of a trek for me; especially since I have a fractured ankle. :( But I'm still considering going... thanks for the heads up though. :)
Good idea, Kelley. We have a social scheduled for April 12th at Fig Jam in south Buckhead. Details are here: http://www.awdg.org/events/56416982/
There's also a page on Eventbrite: http://atlwebsocial.eventbrite.com/
