At the Atlanta ColdFusion User Group we tend to follow this format.<br />

- Nametag distribution, socialization, pizza and drinks<br />

- Meeting Start. Welcome and introduction to the group by MC (usually president)<br />
-- Thank our sponsors, if they are there give them a chance to say a little something<br />
-- Talk about upcoming events for the local group (future lunches, meetings, special events)<br />
-- Talk about upcoming conferences around the world in CF or similar technologies<br />
-- Ask if anyone is looking to…

Our talk formats very depending upon our topics, but thats our basic layout. For smaller numbers I think I will be including the Drupal idea of letting the room introduce themselves in the future though.
