Abstract:
An emerging body of evidence has revealed that CMMI constellations can provide high-value implementation frameworks for Lean development or services, Six Sigma process control, and IT Information Library implementation. Initial anecdotal evidence indicates that implementation of Lean within the CMMI provides signficant improvements in cost and improvement velocity, that Six Sigma is fully realized within the CMMI, and that a marriage of CMMI for Services with ITIL v3.0 provides a high-value framework for improvement in IT service environments.
