New to linux time-wsie but since i have been able to dedicate an abundance of time with it I think I can safely say that I am no longer a noob. I have started a python refresher calls and just finished at html refresher(not 5) and css. my plans are to check out Perl and then learn PHP before moving onto mysql and webdesign. Recently laid off with a nice severance. Since I appear to be too technical for most jobs and not technical enough for the rest, I plan to bridge the gap. I enjoy working with Linux and plan to continue to so in a method that includes a regular paycheck soon.j

Welcome to Atlanta User Groups Matthew. There are quite a few groups in the Linux world around the Atlanta area. I'm not super familiar with it, but I'll bet you might enjoy some of those other groups.
The LUG@GT is the student-run Linux group. Every Wednesday, we have a meeting, usually giving presentations on various Linux-related topics. Anyone is welcome to attend - being a GT student is not a requirement. See the website for more details.See More
