Went to the Drupal group last night, and they had a great idea as part of their meeting format. They had everyone in the room introduce themselves briefly. I'm not sure if we have ever done that, but it was awesome for a newbie to the group. I'm sure it only works for groups less than 30, but nonetheless it was a good idea. Figured I'd let you know since you visit so many groups, and this is kind of your "greeter" "newbie be welcomed" thing. Also, you may have other ideas you have seen at other groups to contribute to the conversation.

The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces and Main Street Stone Mountain will co-host a bluegrass music and arts festival in historic Stone Mountain Village on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
