Impact
Free IT Athens was founded in Fall 2005 by Tarsem S. Purewal Jr., Michael Moore and Michael Luchtan. Since its inception, Free IT Athens has provided over 1,000 computer to individuals and nearly 200 computers to over two dozen community groups. Several tons of unusable computing equipment has been recycled. In the first 5 months of 2009 alone, 35 volunteers contributed over 500 hours of service.
