Event Description

Chances are you have had to lead change or at numerous times have been on the receiving end of change in the workplace. In 1995, John Kotter published research that revealed only 30 percent of change programs are successful. A recent McKinsey & Company survey of business executives indicates that the percent of change programs that are a success today is…still 30%. How can we beat those odds when leading change?

By the end of this talk, you will be able to:

  • Describe the difference between leaders and managers
  • Describe why change often fails
  • Describe 4 complementary models for change
  • Understand how to apply these models to lead successful change

“In theory, theory and practice are the same thing. In practice, they are not.” -- A. Einstein

Real examples will be used to help make that transition from theory to practice.

"I so hear ya', Cheyenne... LOUD AND CLEAR.  I'm in the absolutely same mindset as you are.  That said, I'm very much about truly satisfying my clients.  I'm just not sure I can make the grade this time with that…"

"AOL!  I think you really need to advise your client against this.  I can't think of any reason, even living in the congo, to support AOL these days.  Just download Chrome or anything else for free."
