Abstract:
Process improvement and organizational change requires measurement tools that are self evident and empower the user. However, poor collection and presentation of data can intimidate users and derail corporate initiatives and goals. Metrics are often presented to stake holders in a form not very conducive to action, and as a result process improvement suffers. Charles Johnson and his team have undertaken a different approach in Philips Healthcare to challenge and change this. He is demonstrating that process metrics and BI can be created in a way that encourages, motivates and enables the target audience. Charles will share his approach to effect this change, and insights from his vast experience.
